Stars of TV sci-fi adventure Doctor Who will be travelling to The Eastgate on Bank Holiday Monday!

Two special guests, a Dalek and K-9 will be transported via The Tardis in to the shopping centre at 11.00am on Monday 31^st May to meet, greet and have their photo taken with local shoppers until 3.00pm.

The activity is being run on behalf of The Eastgate shopping centre’s nominated charity of the year, The British Heart Foundation and marks the start of volunteer week.

 

Marks & Spencer has announced it will relocate its Gloucester city centre stores on Northgate Street and Southgate Street to The Eastgate Shopping Centre in April 2012. The existing stores will continue to trade until the new store opens, bringing all departments under one roof, and creating 20 new jobs for the area.

The new store will be 2,000 sq ft larger than the existing stores and offer customers more extensive ranges across fashion including per una, Indigo, and M&S’ lingerie ranges.  It will also feature a Food Hall offering an extensive range of quality products such as ready meals, fresh produce, sandwiches, salads and snacks and a selection of award-winning wines and champagne.

 

If you are wondering how to keep the children entertained this half term, head to The Eastgate Shopping Centre to enjoy a fantastic line up of fun filled events to keep everyone happy this Easter!

Stars of Peppa Pig, Nickelodeon’s popular TV show, will be making a guest appearance at the centre on 22^nd April. Children can meet, greet and have their photo taken with Peppa and George on the hour, every hour, between 11.00am and 3.00pm.
